What made you become a Strength and Conditioning Coach?
I have always had a keen interest in fitness and grew up playing every sport under the sun so when it came to choosing a career, Sport Science seemed like the natural fit. I wanted to help people perform at their best and work with them to achieve their sporting, health and fitness goals.

Favourite Quote:
“You only every fail if you stop trying to succeed”.

Best Energy Food:
Oats with warm spiced apple or berries

Greatest Achievement:
Completing my PhD by 26 and gaining amazing work experiences learning off some of the best coaches in the world!

Best Professional Memory:
Whilst completing my third year placement I had the opportunity to work with some of the athletes in their final preparation for the 2012 London Olympics at the Australian Institute of Sport. I got thrown into the deep end with some of the athletes and it was this moment that solidified my passion to have a career in Strength and Conditioning.

Best Advice I Have Been Given:
To believe in myself and back my knowledge and experience yet to always remember to surround myself with people smart than me.

Secret Talent:
Although I was predominantly a soccer player growing up, I danced for over 13 years and wanted to be a professional ballerina! That dream was effectively ruined when I only grew to 5 foot...

What Do You Do on Your Days Off?
On my days off I love to catch up on much needed sleep! And then it’s out in to nature to enjoy hikes, the beach and basically anything that enjoys moving!

What Keeps You Motivated?
I have always been a very determined person and won’t stop something until I have finished it (I’m a bit of a perfectionist!). My family have always been very supportive of me and I like to do them proud
